Tour of General Atomics
Home of the Predator UAV
Attention High School Students with an interest in Avionics, Electrical & Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing and Software Development! We have a rare opportunity to tour General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, the company in Poway where the unmanned air vehicle, Predator, is designed and manufactured.
This tour is limited to 27 students. Due to the limited space, Seniors and Juniors will be given priority on a first come, first serve basis. Additional spaces will be filled with Sophomore and Freshman students on a first come, first serve basis. Due to the limited space available, this tour is limited to students only, to afford this opportunity to as many of our students as possible who have a keen interest in these fields.
General Atomics has specific security requirements for visitors. Visitors must have the following documents to attend. In the event the visitor does not have acceptable identification, the visitor will be denied access to the facility
. --All participants must be US Citizens.
--All participants must have either #1, a US passport OR two items of id as listed in #2 and #3:
1. A US Passport -- No other ID is required if participant has a US Passport
2. A Certificate of Naturalization (with picture) if participant is a naturalized citizen
3. A Certified Birth Certificate with a seal from the issuing state In addition to a Certificate of Naturalization or a Certified Birth Certificate,
In Addition to the birth certificate, participant must also have a picture ID, this may include a Drivers License, a State Issued Identification Card, Military ID card, or a Student ID card with picture. Names on the picture ID must match the name on the naturalization certificate or birth certificate.
When signing up for the tour, please list your first, middle, and last name, as it appears on your passport or identification card. Also provide your country of birth and your country of citizenship.
