Welcome!
We are a new park group for the Mountain Empire area. Our primary goal is a support system of parents who choose home education for their children. Our goal is to serve the Lord by helping other families who have chosen the path of private home education. We desire to build lasting friendships for our children. We partner together to gain wisdom, knowledge, understanding and encouragement through meetings and fellowship. We wish to enhance the home school by providing opportunities for our children to develop friendships, character, strong family values, and educational standards. We hope to accomplish this through activities, field trips and park group.
Come and check us out. We meet at the library on the 2nd Friday of the month. When the weather looks good, we head over to the park.
Our first meeting is September 12th!
We are so excited to already have such a great group of people ready to serve together to meet the needs of moms and children! Tina Lovio has agreed to help Co-Lead, with Janice Sprague as our Information Officer and Laura Thomson doing all our field trips this year! Thanks ladies for stepping up to help make our group great!!
