The Lakeside Support Group offers Christian Home Schooling families support, fellowship, friendship, and Home Schooling information. "How great is the Love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God" 1 John 3:1 Showcase At every meeting, the children are invited to share a special project, a favorite item, a much loved song, or a Bible verse. All participants receive a small prize from the prize box. Field Trips Each month we offer two field trips. Some in the last year include: Stein Family Farm, The Yogurt Mill, Vaquero Days, a Ranger-Led tour at the Tidepools at Cabrillo National Monument, the San Diego Zoo, the free day at the Aerospace Museum, and the San Diego Symphony Young People's Concerts. Members of our group can sign up for the field trips at Park Day or via e-mail. When and Where Come and join us the first Friday of every month @1:00 pm (Sept. - May) El Monte County Park--turn right at the ranger station, and go almost to the end.
