Welcome!
We're glad you are here! We are Christian Family Schools of Chula Vista, a group of Christian homeschooling families in the South Bay. We seek the fellowship of other Christians who are homeschooling or considering homeschooling in our community. We hope to provide a sense of togetherness & encouragement for each other and share how we have overcome obstacles in our journey of educating our children for the glory of the Lord!
We are a diverse group of families and our members range from those doing it on their own to those involved in formal Independent Study Programs (ISP).
Membership and Fees
Annual membership fees are $20 and that fee includes membership in CFS-San Diego as well. Your membership entitles you to a membership packet with valuable information about homeschooling resources, park day activities & programs, co-op classes, field trips, monthly newsletter and access to our online email loop. We also offer Moms Encouraging Moms (MEM) events monthly, an annual science fair, spelling bees and an end of year picnic. Voting members are required to sign our statement of faith. We can also provide scholarships to cover the fees for families who may be experiencing a financial hardship.
