We're glad you are here! We are Christian Family Schools of Chula Vista, a group of Christian homeschooling families in the South Bay. We seek the fellowship of other Christians who are homeschooling or considering homeschooling in our community. We hope to provide a sense of togetherness & encouragement for each other and share how we have overcome obstacles in our journey of educating our children for the glory of the Lord!
We are a diverse group of families and our members range from those doing it on their own to those involved in formal Private Satellite Programs (PSPs).
The annual membership fee is $20 which includes membership in CFS-Chula Vista and San Diego County. Your membership entitles you to valuable homeschooling resources, park day activities & programs, co-op classes, field trips, monthly newsletter, and access to our online email loop. We also offer occasional Moms Encouraging Moms (MEM) events, an annual showcase, spelling bee, and an end of year picnic. Voting members are required to sign our statement of faith. We may provide scholarships to cover the fees for families who may be experiencing a financial hardship.

CFS-Chula Vista organizes eight to ten field trips throughout San Diego County each year. Some of our past field trips include Sea World, San Diego Zoo, train ride to San Juan Capistrano, Indian Hills Camp, tidepooling in La Jolla or Point Loma, and Creation Research Museum.
We also hold these local events annually: Showcase, Spelling Bee, Used Curriculum and Book Sale, and year-end Picnic.

We meet the 2nd Friday of the month from 9:45 a.m. to noon, September through April, June, and August.
If it is raining, the meeting may be relocated or rescheduled for the following Friday. Check this page for updates.
