Welcome!

We are so excited that you found us and hope that your decision to homeschool has filled your family with Peace. If you are still considering homeschooling and are continuing to explore all of the educational options available to your family we welcome you as well. We want you to know that we have been there too! We are so glad that you were directed to our group, and would love to come alongside you with any help that we can offer.

Who We Are

As we are in our third year as CFS Carlsbad, we are so thankful for the growth with which God has blessed us. We have been encouraged by and are growing out of two of the largest CFS support groups with a desire to meet the needs of homeschoolers in the North County Coastal Area. It is our passion first and foremost that we support and encourage your family to be, and to raise children who are, absolutely sold out and on fire for the Lord! We aim to be “Heart Schoolers” who nurture hearts in faith in the One True God while providing an array of exciting scholastic, artistic, physical and social activities. We are committed to our community and are looking to encourage families within Carlsbad and its surrounding areas.

Statement of Faith

We embrace all Christian church affiliations that hold to the truth that the Bible is the infallible, inerrant, inspired Word of God. We encourage our members to refrain from interdenominational criticism, but rather to uphold and to honor each other in Christ's love.

We believe that God has purposefully put every man, woman, and child on earth for a reason. God makes it clear that He intends for His Word to be understood, and we believe that it is our duty to help each other and the world around us discover the fulfillment and fullness of life that can only be found through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We especially love to teach children how precious and purposed they are in God's sight, and to equip them for a life of Godly service, knowing their worth in Christ.

What We Do

CFS Carlsbad offers a wide variety of support options which will include but not be limited to park days, co-op class days on Fridays (with art, science, writing, music, etc.), parent support and growth opportunities, holiday parties and lots of field trips. It is our hope that our families will embrace the freedom that is provided in homeschooling and participate in and grow the activities that fit their individual needs.
