CFS Board of Directors

John & Laura Wojnicki (Chairman and Co-Chairman)

John and Laura co-chair Christian Family Schools of San Diego.  Their personal homeschool journey which began in 1985 is over, as all four children are married and raising families of their own.  They have three sons: Todd, who works for a wire and cable distributor, Aaron who is a pastor in Kentucky, and Dave who is a pastor in Valley Center.  Their daughter Andrea is a stay at home mom.  Even though the Wojnicki’s no longer have children living at home, they are thoroughly enjoying their growing number of grandchildren.  From their experience, they have found homeschooling to be the most conducive option for discipling children, and for this reason they remain involved as leaders of Christian Family Schools.  John has worked in sales and sales training for Belden Corporation since 1973 and Laura is thankful to have always been a stay at home mom.  John and Laura have been married for over 40 years.

Dave & Susan Johnson (Directors of Technology)

Dave and Susan Johnson serve on the Board of Christian Family Schools as the Directors of Technology.  They have been married 21 years and have four children.  Through Dave's job as a software engineer, they have lived in different parts of the country and bring homeschooling perspectives from Louisiana and Texas in addition to California.  They have a heart for raising up a Godly generation and helping families who are just beginning their homeschool journey.

Bob & Sandi Linderman (Treasurers)

Bob and Sandi Linderman will celebrate 25 years of marriage in 2010. They homeschooled and have graduated both of their children.  Aaron, age 23, recently married Katie Geerdes and is working at Hume Lake Christian Camps running their landscape department. Katlyn, age 20, is a trainee at Ballet Magnificant - a Professional Christian Ballet Company located in Jackson, Mississippi. Before serving on the CFS Board, Bob and Sandi co-led the local CFS support group in Escondido.  They both have a heart to encourage families to stay the course with excellence on their homeschool journey.

Jake & Terri Simpson (Board Members)

After spending twelve years on staff with Campus Crusade for Christ, Jake and Terri began Restore the Family Ministries in 1997.  Their vision was to help rebuild the walls (the old ways of doing things found in Isaiah 58:12) around families in order that the family unit might be a powerful asset for Christ once again in our communities.  The Simpsons have been blessed with twelve children whom they have homeschooled. God has allowed many opportunities for speaking, counseling, one-on-one discipleship, as well as Jake's first book "The Fight To Do What's Right".  Jake & Terri are currently working on a book entitled "Walls and Gates Around Families".
