Iowa Test of Basic Skills
Standardized testing has some great benefits:
- It gives us as parents some objective feedback on areas of strength our kids have so that we may further encourage them in those areas
- It gives us that same objective feedback on areas in which we may need to spend a little extra time to ensure mastery in a particular area
- It gives the students a chance to become acquainted with the process of standardized testing which helps to prepare them for college entrance exams which they are likely to face in their high school years
CFSSD is offering ITBS testing for students in 4th to 12th grades of CFS member families county-wide.
Date: Monday, May 7th, and Tuesday, May 8th. 8:15 AM to approximately 12:00 PM
Where: Living Way Church in Poway at 13609 Twin Peaks Rd.
Cost: $40 per student
We need parent volunteers to help proctor the tests. If you have a bachelor's degree, you can become a proctor for BJU. Go here to get started. You will need to make an account on BJU's website and then find out how to become a proctor.
