Speaker ~ Dr. Larry Guthrie |

Dr. Guthrie’s creative and entertaining messages, many
of them featuring animals, will encourage and inspire
your whole family in the area of Godly character.
Dr. Larry Guthrie is currently the Director of
Educational Ministries at Camp Forest Springs in
Westboro, Wisconsin. As the former research assistant and
writer for the Institute in Basic Life Principles, he
played a key role in producing various publications
including the “Character Sketches” and the “Eagle
Story.” Dr. Guthrie is the former director of the
Children’s Institute which offers character training and
instruction in basic Biblical principles to children
ages 6-12. Over the past 10 years, these week-long
children’s seminars have enrolled over 175,000 children
in 50 cities and 8 foreign countries.

Scott & Marcia Somerville
As Staff Attorney at
Home School Legal Defense
Association, Scott Somerville has successfully handled
thousands of legal contacts on behalf of families in 38
different states. Scott was a homeschooler before he was
a lawyer: he was president of the Christian Home
Educators of New Hampshire before he left to attend
Harvard Law School where he graduated with honors in
1992. Scott has spoken and written extensively on
parental rights and the history of American education
law.
Marcia Somerville is the author of the
Tapestry of
Grace (TOG) history curriculum. Marcia has taught all of
their children at home from the beginning, and now that
five out of six have graduated, she serves other homeschooling families as a speaker and author.

Charles & Kathy Lowers
Charles and Kathy Lowers are the founders of
Considering Homeschooling, a national Christian ministry
that introduces believers to the blessings of private
biblical homeschooling. After watching fellow Christian
activists try to save others, but lose their own
children through preschool and public education, Charles
and Kathy asked God to show them a way to help rescue
Christian children. While the organization started as a
mom's meeting, they soon realized that the heart of the
ministry and a requirement for revival was the
restoration of the Christian family -- calling fathers
to assume their God-given role as the head of the
family. |
John Wojnicki
John Wojnicki is the Chairman of Christian Family
Schools. He and his wife Laura have been married 34
years and lead CFS of San Diego. They homeschooled their
four children for over 20 years. Their entire family has
graduated and those with school-aged children are now
homeschooling. John and Laura are blessed with five
grandchildren, so far! John is an Elder in his local
church and has been the President and teacher of a large
adult fellowship class there for 15 years. He is an
“interactive participatory” teacher who is a sales
trainer by profession. Attend a John Wojnicki session
and you will be creatively moved to consider what God’s
Word says you should be doing with the life He has given
you! |
