Welcome to the College Area of San Diego!
We are a small group of families who have home education in common. We meet for "park days" twice a month where we offer our kids a chance to practice public speaking, do craft projects, and make friends. We also offer a couple field trips and a Mom's Night Out each month.
Our park group is currently made up of boys and girls in just about every age group from infant to high school, so there are most likely plenty of potential friends for your child(ren). If you are a brand new home schooler or you have years of experience, you will find peers in our group.

Community Service Opportunities:
Tuesday, May 27th at Ft. Rosecrans: Our group invites you to join us to pick up the flags at the cemetary after Memorial Day. It's a great time to show support for our armed services and patriotism for our country. Contact us via e-mail for more details to participate.
Friday, September 26th at Vista La Mesa Park: Our 2nd Annual Roy Hanson Used Curriculum Sale. You are invited to donate used curriculum and teaching aides (nothing else please), or to shop. We'll be at the park starting at 12:00 and stay until at least 2:00. All items will be sold for $1.00, and all money collected will go to Roy Hanson's Family Protection Ministries. Donations for Roy's ministry will also be gratefully accepted. Come donate and shop, enjoy fellowship, and support Roy.
Performance Opportunities:
Saturday, March 15th: College Area Talent Show. Our group will be performing their talents for each other at our annual Talent Show and Potlach. Where else have you seen: movies originally written and filmed by our high schoolers, martial arts demonstrations, juggling, oratories and musical instrument performances all in the same night?
