Oceanside/North Coast CFS is a support group for Christian homeschooling families in the North Coast area of San Diego County. Our group is part of the Christian Family Schools network, an organization of Christian homeschooling support groups throughout San Diego County. The CFS groups are committed to the right of private Christian homeschooling; therefore, our leaders have signed a Statement of Faith with CFS. While members may belong to any type of homeschooling affiliation, we are here particularly to support the private Christian homeschooler.
We utilize a Yahoo site for our online news, posting field trips, classes, and outings, sharing ideas, and prayer requests, instead of a paper newsletter. This site is only available to members of NCCFS, however to preview our site, email us for temporary access. Our monthly activities include a Park Day and Mom's Night Out. Tuesday Class Day varies from year to year, but generally includes a Writing Class as well as other classes various families are interested in doing on a co-op basis. We hold Soccer for all ages in the fall, and other sports, again depending on the interests of the families willing to take the lead. Field trips, Opera, CYT theater trips, Community Helpers Field trips for young children, Presidential Physical Fitness training and testing, ballet, and other miscellaneous events round out our group.

Park Day
We usually meet at Martin Luther King Jr. Park the 1st Friday of the month from 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM. Please send us an email if you are interested in attending for the first time as occasionally the location changes due to weather.
